Brand New CD from THE BERRIES Out Today!!!

From the most unexpected pocket of the south (Newberry, SC to be exact), from the most unlikely cast of characters (ranging from 23 to 66 years old), comes the most unthinkably danceable disc of garage rock ragers to come across our desk for quite some time! Drawing on everything from full-blown psychedelia to hot rod surf to good old fashioned frat-rock stompers, this album comes pre-packed with plenty of party potential! Oh yeah! Buy it here!!!

Arts and Crafts with Gravitron

On Saturday, Dec. 1st, the last great rock n roll show of 2012 hits Columbia, SC.  Gravitron, thee Get Wets, Dead Surf, and the Berries play at Art Bar.  To commemorate the occasion, we screenprinted some record/flyers that came out super awesome! So we wanted to share!

Spraypainting the base

The screens, burned with PLAIDs "Simply Screen" exposure unit.  Best 40 bucks I've ever spent.
The screens are framed in cut-up cases of beer.  You can see the bottle impressions on the girl with the gun screen.
Pushin' ink

These were printed with Speedball poster ink, which retails for about 6 bucks per pack.  This whole project cost about 15-20 bucks, and was a ton of fun.  And looks awesome.

After the first color dries, time for the show details
Finished produt, drying on my wife's laundry rack.

Saturday in Columbia, SC! An ever-so-rare garage and surf trash rock bonanza!!

Not to Keep Kicking a Dead Horse, but....

The Outrights have returned! Maybe just for one show, maybe for a few... all I can say for sure is that a new 7" is forthcoming, and we had a hell of a great weekend...

This video is the first song from our first rehearsal in 12 years. Fell back into place like we'd never stopped!

NEW RELEASE! Crimson Ghosts "Some Kinda Hits" LP on Marbled Wax!!

NEW RELEASE!!!

The Crimson Ghosts "Some Kinda Hits" 12" LP

Go Zombie has teamed up with Boston label Necro-Tone to bring you this super limited 12" vinyl pressing of the classic Crimson Ghosts album on vinyl for the first time! The CD version of this record sold out quickly after release a few years ago!

The Crimson Ghosts play instrumental surf versions of classic Misfits tunes. Drenched in reverb, and with tongues firmly planted in their cheeks, the Crimson Ghosts tear through a Dick Dale-ified tribute to the fathers of horror punk!!! Listen to a few tracks on the "sounds" page! Or hear them on Pandora!

With cover art by Eerie Von of Samhain/Danzig/Misfits fame!!! Color vinyl, limited to 300 copies, and worth every fucking penny! We're so stoked to be putting this record out!!!!

Buy It Here!!

Oh Shit! The Outrights Are Back!!!

ooohhhh man! what an announcement today! THE OUTRIGHTS, those loveable, dirty little garage punkers from Fort Lauderdale, the same lads who SINGLE-HANDEDLY founded Go Zombie Records AND saved three consecutive mid-90s Christmases, are playing their first show in 12 years!!! Its only a month away! And rumor has it that a new 7" might be in the works? Could it be true? COULD IT??!?!?
